Lord, Are You Talking To Me?
by Audrey Bryant Do you desire to do real damage to the kingdom of darkness? Then reconsider what you know about dying to yourself, as you take responsibility for your own spiritual growth and spiritual healing. This healing is not automatic; it is a day by day journey where we say, "Yes Lord", "whatever it takes", even if it hurts. It is only through dying to ourselves that we become God's spiritually mature sons and daughters. Meditate on the following as you pursue your spiritual healing. Dying to ourselves is real spiritual warfare. This warfare begins with a personal, one-on-one relationship with God. As we become more intimate with Him, He can reveal more of His will. He begins to expose us to ourselves, revealing where our ways are not His, even our good ways. God's purposes must take center stage in our minds, and hearts. His will must become our pursuit. The true manifestation of a surrendered soul only comes as we let go of our standards and accept His. No matter how "Christian" we think we are, day by day we must learn His Truth and bow down to it. We must reconsider our Christian beliefs. Many of them must be discarded so that we can pursue God's truth. Spiritual healing and death to self...Lord, are You talking to me? (c) 2012 I have Jesus passion for helping others become more intimate with God and Jesus. I share what I have so that others can get better each day.
