Book Review: Unstoppable, "The Incredible Power of Faith in Action" by Nick Vujicic
by Joan Lee

Recently, I had the pleasure of reading a truly inspirational book.

Author Nick Vujicic, someone I've never heard of, touched me with his words. Unstoppable, "The Incredible Power of Faith in Action" is a nonfiction journey through this motivational speaker's life. It's his second book to date and follows, "Life without Limbs."

The writer explains the difference between having faith and living in faith, two totally different things. If you are praying or waiting for a sign that will reveal your life's purpose you may be in for a surprise.

Some parts are laugh out loud funny. Nick can pull it off because he is so comfortable with himself. Other chapters are very disturbing. Do you know that in some parts of the world disabled children are murdered? Some are buried alive!

I didn't know about the common horrific acts performed on women in some countries! I loved the fact that he spoke to Muslims and adjusted his speech accordingly. It proves that you can reach anyone. Nick realizes that the ideas of society as a whole change one person at a time.

Several stories are about the people (young and old) that he has come in contact with. He shares their experiences to make a point. No one wants to feel different. And we all want to feel valued and loved.

A Lack of happiness and self-confidence leads to anxiety, depression and other complications so he has outlined signs to watch for and other great resource information.

I'm thankful I found this book. I received a free copy from Waterbrook Publishing for an honest review.
