Mississippi River Driftwood
by PamFord Davis We live relatively close to the Mighty Mississippi River. Barges, sand bars and driftwood are integral parts of Old Man River. Many folk artists, seeing potential masterpieces, gather the driftwood. As a Christian, I see dangers in my drifting. "Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve those who are going to inherit salvation? We must therefore pay even more close attention to what we have heard, so that we will not drift away (Hebrews 1:14-2:1 HCS)."
