For Me?
by PamFord Davis "For me?" Have you ever been the recipient of a prize or unexpected gift? I have; close friends gave my husband Norm and I round trip airfare to England! They knew how much I was missing our daughter, her husband and our grandsons. It gets better; another friend gave us spending money for the trip. For us? God means for us to receive his blessings. Whoever means me? "For 'whoever calls on the LORD shall be saved (Romans 10:13 NKJ)." You might wonder if whoever includes you. If you place your trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord, it decidedly does. Accept his gift. He offers it to you today. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJ)." It gets better. He is preparing a heavenly home just for you. (John 14:1) We need no plane tickets; at our time of death, we immediately enter his presence.
