But, Wait!

Wait. Now, that's a four-letter word most find distasteful. I'd surmise many find waiting to be cruel and inhumane punishment. The dilemma begins before birth while the baby awaits delivery; immediately following its arrival, it waits feeding time. You'd think that after nearly sixty-five years I'd be accustomed to waiting; yet, I refuse to acquiesce.

But, wait! There is something positive for me to share today about waiting. "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31 Living Bible)." Waiting shows what stuff I allow to control me. Do I whimper and whine?
