Mingles in Our Midst
by PamFord Davis

Are you a person who likes to mingle? Extroverts mingle with ease; excuse me if I do not have mingling expertise. It's not that I am not "a people person." I love people. Relationship is a top priority. I am genuinely concerned about the spiritual, physical, and emotional welfare of those in my midst. Dealing with individuals, one-on-one, comes far easier than mingling in a crowd. I am eternally grateful for the Son of Man who mingles in our midst.

"Again, I say to you, 'That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them (Matthew 18:19-20 KJV)." He is among us. Emmanuel, God is with us! (Matthew 1:23) I may be uncomfortable mingling in-group settings but I am delighted to know Jesus mingles in our midst.
