Learning How to Count
by PamFord Davis I'm unashamedly a fan of 1950's & 60's TV reruns. Programs ran the gamut from musical entertainment to westerns, medical shows, family sitcoms, drama and comedy. The Beverly Hillbillies is among my comedy favorites. You might recall the simplistic mathematical problem solving of character, Jethro Bodine. His naught & goes-intas' were humorous. The Clampett family may not have been the brightest on the Beverly Hills block but they were content and knew how to count their blessings. "Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing (Psalm 107:21-22 NKJ)."
