Especially For You
by PamFord Davis It's Christmas; are you a kid-at-heart? Will you confess to shaking gift-wrapped packages under the tree? If the gift tag contains your name, is that justifiable cause? Do the best gifts come in the smallest packages? Well, that 'is' food for thought (and calorie free). Gifts are free; if not, they are instead payment for services rendered. God's grace gifts do not come tied up in bows. Yet, He has earmarked at least one especially for you. You will not find them under your Christmas tree or hidden away for safekeeping. The Holy Spirit reveals them to you and others. "For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. And since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let each exercise them accordingly (Romans 12:4-6a NAS)."
