With ideas in it that can be put into practice immediately and effectively." "A sublime collection of inspirational devotionals, that will leave you knowing that you are on the right track and in total alignment with God's will." I'd get all warmed up and stretched and then tackle the gym apparatus. I was alright with weights but I disliked the cycle machine and treadmill. I am a casual jogger and far prefer spending time out on the road running for 3 or 4 miles across country paths or on the road rather than trudging a treadmill until sweat pours from me, while getting nowhere. To me road running seems far more rewarding (though more challenging) than running for 45 minutes on a static treadmill. Sometimes life's like a treadmill days, weeks or even years plodding the same old same old yet seemingly getting nowhere. There are times when it seems that all I do is exhaust myself trying to keep the business of life running in humdrum monotony. Our Christian walk can often be like this, too. It is all too easy to become caught up in the routine of Christian living and church attendance yet loose that sparkle of new life in Christ. Ever feel that way? It's only when we meet someone who is new to the faith and is hanging on every word the Holy Spirit quickens to his heart that we realise that we've been treading the treadmill of Christian lifestyle and become indifferent to the friendship of Jesus. The Lord our God is a loving Father. He has new and fresh blessings in stall for his children every day. So let's return to our first love and the passion we had when we first came to know Christ. Let us hang off of every word we read or hear as quickened by our Councillor the Holy Spirit, instead of running the treadmill of religious traditions. God is gracious and compassionate; slow to anger and abounding in loving-kindness. Let us turn from apathy and complacency and, instead, run the race with our eyes firmly set on Jesus. He has times of refreshing lined up for you and for me. So let's get out onto the open road and open wide our eyes to the beauty and joy of running this new life in Christ. God-tracking is never becoming complacent on the road of Christian living. Run in such a way that you may win. Quote of the Week Sample of Dudley's Fave Quotes "The fire of heaven can't be second-rate, used fire, second hand, worn, losing its quality. God has only one kind of fire: ever- fresh, bright, flaming, leaping and brand new." --- Reinard Bonke Don't Give Up, Look Up! Look up and Fix Your Eyes on Jesus! Help me, dear Lord, to enjoy the scenery with new and fresh eyes "Dear Father, I am so sorry for becoming complacent in my Christian walk. I have taken my eyes off of your beauty and become indifferent to the challenge of your word. I realise that every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before and that I need to disembark this treadmill in life and get out into the open county roads to run the race marked out for me. Help me, dear Lord, to enjoy the scenery with new and fresh eyes. To your glory. Amen." If you want more prayer then email [email protected] >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> What is trACker?
