Jigsaw Puzzles
by PamFord Davis Do you work jigsaw puzzles? As a family, we often worked puzzles together when our children were young. It's not a good pastime for the impatient. It seems that the manufacturers deliberately try to make finding certain pieces difficult. Maybe that's why it works so well as a group project; what one person doesn't see as a fitting piece, another in their working does. God is actively involved and working in my life. He makes the pieces fit. "Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure (Philippians 2:12-13 KJV)." I am able to work out, put into practice, the salvation that he works in me. I don't see the whole picture; yet, I can rest assured, he does.
