Lean, Mean Fighting Machine
by PamFord Davis 'He's a lean, mean fighting machine.' That might be an apt description of G.I. Joe. Recruits exercise rigorously during basic training. After completion, as graduates, they enter active service. I submit to the Lord' exercise demands; daily I exercise my faith. It would be a disgrace to forget his marvelous works. I guard against leanness of soul. "They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel: But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert. And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul (Psalm 106:13-15 KJV)."
