The Lord is in control

always upon the earth;

Satan conducts his evil purpose,

but can't actually affect one single birth.

He has fashioned the devil,

who went against His own hand,

BUT, He already has the victory

across every land.

The Lord is in control of my whole mind

and of every breath.

Satan, although he does try,

can never defeat my soul with death.

The Lord is in control,

He knows the end even as it is not;

He has sealed every forehead

all of those He has begot.

The Lord is in me

and I abide in Him;

He guides my every step;

He makes strength within my limbs.

SO brethren heed these words:

The Lord is making His appeal;

PUT Him in charge

and He'll teach you all of His Ways to feel.
