Trust God?
by Annagail Lynes In God, whose word I praisein God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? - Psalm 56:4 (NIV) There is nothing to fear in life. As long as we have God on our side, there is nothing to fear. There is no one to fear. It seems odd to say that when there are threats all around us. There are terrorists who want to kill us for our faith. There are shooters and bombers everywhere, but our faith, our hope, our trust, has to be in our God. We have to know that He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. Even in the darkest situations, He is with us. Our God loves us. Our God wants what is best for us. We just have to surrender our will to His and trust that our God is going to turn everything around for our good. We have trust His plan, His purposes, instead of ours. When we do that, God opens up doors and ways we didn't see possible. Even in the dark times, choose to say, "Lord, I don't know what You are doing, but I choose to trust You."
