Only God's love is steadfast;

He lets me know in many ways,

He intensifies my joy

in the midst of ordinary days......

During days of challenge,

I feel my muscles gain in their might;

I pray for courage

and AWAY goes my fright.

During days of anger,

HIS MERCY IS MINE;

redness leaves my face

and I achieve peace---SO DIVINE!

During days, oh so quiet,

I hear His speech in my heart,

my soul is lifted by His message;

He puts His answer in every part.

At times He nudges my direction

in the stillness of my soul;

He fills me with His wisdom,

which makes me know I'm whole.

I rely on the Lord,

when it's my heart that longs to mend;

it's in Him I put my trust,

not in any season or what people recommend.

Oh so sad and unstable is a life,

in which mere season we depend;

only He is steadfast and fleeting is ALL ELSE,

like the abrupt summers end.
