Father God
by Gregory John Monroe

It seems to me that when we seek God, we're seeking to know and ultimately have a relationship with God the Father. It's not that He's more powerful than God the Son or God the Spirit, or that having a relationship with those two are meaningless. They're all equal in substance. Together they are one God. But within God, there is the role of Father. That function is the pinnacle for which we reach.

We find God by the Spirit convicting us of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and by the acceptance of the Son. At that point, we become children of the Father. But that doesn't mean we automatically know and can experience a relationship with Him. We simply belong to Him.

In order to develop intimacy, our Father reaches out to us by teaching and directing us to His one and only begotten Son. Jesus knows the ways of our Father. He knows His character, His likes and dislikes. Our eldest brother passes on to us the experiences He has with our Father.

It is through the Son that we get to behold the Father, and all for the sole purpose of becoming like Him. As such, the relationship is developed into being one with HimHe in us, we in Him.
Our Father's heart becomes our heart. His thoughts, motives, and feelings become ours. We become our Father's name. We become His righteousness.

The Father points everyone to Jesus because it is only the Son who can reveal the Father (Matthew 11: 27). I believe this is true even for those who have never heard nor will hear the name of Jesus. Here's why

Those who never hear about Jesus, nor the gospel, but who acknowledge God and honor His character in their conscience, heart and actions; forsaking the worship of creatures and idols (Romans 1: 22-25), will be saved because they worship the Creator God in spirit and in faith, which is credited to them as righteousness (Genesis 15:6, Hebrews 11:7).

Therefore, in the end, it is Jesus whom they worship. For after all, He is Creator God. That then would include them under the covering of the Word that says, "There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved."

Many will be shocked by Gregory's book, The Three Angels' Message. It ID's Antichrist and the "mark of the beast," and the role both are playing today in the end-time issue of worship. The book's biblical & historical proof can't be denied. Get more info now at http://www.tinyurl.com/6pk3pyq
