FOR YOUR GLORY LORD
by Lewis E. Thomas Lord, I love to write poetry to glorify your name! Let your Holy Spirit guide and write every line and every frame! Give me words breathed by the Holy Spirit that can melt the hardest heart! Words that will lead a lost soul to Jesus and give them a new life to start! Give me words Lord that reach way down deep into the soul! Words that will pierce the heart of the young and the old! Lord guide my hand across the pages of each and every line! Let the words not return unto you void but let them accomplish things divine! Lord, let me to write down all the words that you give! Lord, let me write for you as long as I shall live! When my hands grows old and feeble and my writing comes to an end! Let me be found "still true to Jesus" with no a trace of sin! Lord, when my heart stops, take me up to Glory and give me a body new!
