LOVE THE LOST
by Lewis E. Thomas I ran into a Christian acquaintance the other day. This is what the self righteous man had to say! He complained about other employees on his job he had to work around! He said "They do this and they do that" as he made an ugly frown! He said, "I cannot "stand" working around a bunch of lost heathens!" As I listened I became "grieved in my spirit" for obvious reasons! JESUS CHRIST "never shunned" the sinner or those who were lost! They are "the reason" that He went to the Cross! There are unsaved sinners around me everywhere I go! I try to build a "relationship" with them "when I can" though sometimes it's slow. I want them to feel the love of Jesus reaching out to them "through me!" I pray that Jesus will open their blind eyes so that they can spiritually see! You see, "I used to be one of those godless sinners and heathens too!" Until The Grace of God reached down and made me new! "Look onto the fields for the harvest is truly plenteous but the labourers few!" "Let us love all those sinners and heathens and ask God to "make them new!" Lewis E.
