Secret Passwords
by PamFord Davis The internet has opened up a whole new world to computer users. We log into web pages and social networking sites with little thought to the work of computer programmers and moderators. Yet, we do frequently wince when asked for our passwords. 'Oh my, where did I put that?' I find the 'Keep me signed in' choices helpful; don't you? When desiring God's presence, how do I gain access to His throne room? I need neither secret password nor prearranged set appointment. Wherever and whenever I pray, He welcomes me. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14:6 NKJ)." Christ Jesus is my only way of entry. He not only gives you and me permission to use His name; He has told us to offer up our prayers in His name. Praying, in keeping with the will of the Father we approach Him reverently. "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it (John 14:13-14 NKJ)." To God be the glory!
