BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ASK
by Lewis E. Thomas I asked God to make me a "strong" Christian and to make me "spiritually wise." I asked God to bring me "closer" to Him and to "open" my spiritual eyes! So, He sent many Storms into my life that put my faith to the test! And Jesus has "always" been their "with me" and to that I can attest! He allowed me to endure great suffering and great pain! But "my tears" in the Storms were for my spiritual gain! When the Storm clouds roll in and life's waves crash over my soul! God is moving me "ever closer" to Him and my spiritual goal! During the calm seasons my/our prayers are usually weak! But when we are in a Storm, "God with all our heart we seek!" So, be "careful what you ask for" and the consequences before you speak!
