VICTORY
by Lewis E. Thomas Lord, show me how to mortify my fleshly desires! Lord, help me to extinguish all my carnal fires! My spirit is always "willing" but my flesh is weak! Lord, "VICTORY" over my flesh is what I seek! Let my fleshly desires be crucified with my Savior! Then I can walk in "VICTORY" with good behavior! Lord, I am weary of my flesh pulling me spiritually down! Lord, grant me the grace to make me spiritually sound! I am weary of having to repent over and over again! I am weary of losing my battle with SIN! Just when I think I have my flesh under control! I fall as I run toward my goal! Lord, grant me the grace to succeed! Lord, please hear my prayer and my urgent need! Send your Holy Spirit down and let it flood my soul! Then I will be filled with the power to reach my goal!
