Humble Harry
by PamFord Davis Have you met humble Harry? He has never made a big splash in society. Why, he rarely leaves the confines of the rural county where he was born and raised. He isn't seeking recognition of his employer or praise of peers. Content with his lot in life, Harry works to support his family and is a faithful member in his small country church. How important is faithfulness? "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord (Matthew 25:21 NKJ)." Folks like Harry might have few talents or leadership skills. They simply make themselves available and faithfully serve God and others. Harry has his priorities straight. "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time (1 Peter 5:6 NKJ)."
