You Decide
by PamFord Davis Folly or Faith? You decide Abraham burned his bridges behind him. Jacob wrestled with an angel. Noah built an ark. As weapons against Goliath, David chose a slingshot and stones. Esther, risking her life, approached the king without invitation. Daring to pray, Daniel did what was forbidden. Simple fisherman cast their nets aside and followed a radical teacher named Jesus. To the faint of heart, such actions and countless others of the faithful were illogical and considered folly. Each fore mentioned individual demonstrated devotion and faith. Were they afraid? "Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You (Psalm 56:3 NKJ)." Faith trumped their fears. "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6 NKJ)."
