THE OLD MAN
by Lewis E. Thomas There was an old man who was on the outs with his son. It was because of a trivial offense the son said he had done. The old man apologized several times but his apology was not received! The son seemed to want his old Poppa to grieve. The old man missed seeing his grand children and their mom and dad! The old man prayed about it because he was sad. Months and months passed by with the old man hearing nary a word! But the old man's FAITH was not deterred! Unforgiveness is a sin that God truly hates! It can doom your soul to an eternal fate! So, the old man put his son into the hands of God above! He prayed that God would "save" this son that he loved! As the old man waits on God, they say he passes the time... "Playing with his grandchildren in his mind." Lewis E.
