My Little Quota
by Olawale Ogunsola I have resolved in my mind, And determined in my heart, Like Ruth in the Holy Bible. To fulfill my own Quota, And in every quarter; As an eye or a ear is a member of the body, So I am a member of Christ's body. In my role I will not fail, So that His body will not suffer; Nor my role be reassigned to another, Because there is no vacancy in the work of God, No man is indispensable! As a man fails in his role, He quickly raises another instead. For another person not to take your crown, You must work to receive the crown. My part may be little or much, It may be near or far; It does not matter where! But to act well my part. In truth and faithfulness In righteousness to the end! By His grace and power In His love and mercy. My role I will efficiently perform, And my part I will effectively carry out; This I can do by Christ's Spirit and grace. Stay blessed and rapturable because the Lord is coming soon.
