Reliance

I find the model names of automobiles interesting.

You've likely noticed that many are named after animals.

Horse-power is the theme for Ford's Mustang, Maverick and the Pinto. There are likely more; remembering the models might make a fun trivia parlor game. I'm remembering a decidedly different car brand.

The Plymouth Valiant was introduced by Chrysler Corporation in 1960.

I wonder

Were owners somehow heroic? Did they emulate Prince Valiant?

When opposed by evil enemies, Jeremiah relied on the LORD.

"But the Lord is with me like a violent warrior.
Therefore, my persecutors will stumble and not prevail.
Since they have not succeeded, they will be utterly shamed,
an everlasting humiliation that will never be forgotten.
Lord of Hosts, testing the righteous
and seeing the heart and mind,
let me see Your vengeance on them,
for I have presented my case to You.
Sing to the Lord!
Praise the Lord,
for He rescues the life of the needy
from the hand of evil people (Jeremiah 20:11-13 HCSB)."
