LITTLE BOY
by Lewis E. Thomas An old lady lay a dying in a hospital room all alone. Then out of no where a "little boy" happened along. He slowly walked up and took the old lady by the hand. He said, "Tonight I'm going to take you to my Father's House, and its so Grand!" The " little boy" said, "I love you and I'll return soon! One could feel the "power of God" in that room! The "little boy" made His way from one room to another up and down the Halls. He held the hands of every dying soul until he had touched them all. The Nurses on duty were asked by the patients about the "little boy"! The patients said, " He touched me and filled me with such Joy! The Nurses said, "There has been no " little boy" on these floors today! Then they turned and all walked away. Then that night at midnight the "little boy" returned! The hearts of all those he had touched began to burn! Then a host of angels appeared and the "little boy" sent one to each dying soul. Then the "little boy" said, "Its time to take them to our City of Gold"! The angels gently lifted the dying from their beds in one accord. Then the " little boy" revealed that He was "Jesus Christ the Lord"! The next morning the Hospital Staff was in an uproar because many patients were gone! The "little boy" had taken them all to their Heavenly Home. Once long ago sin caused God's creation to go all wrong. Then a "little boy" born of a virgin happened along! Lewis E.
