ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN SOLDIER?
by Lewis E. Thomas

Are you a Christian Soldier fighting the good fight?
Do you serve Jesus with all your strength and might?

Do you put on the whole armor of God each and every day?
Are you a disciplined Soldier who knows how to pray?

Does the enemy know your name and does he from you flee?
Do you spend time preparing for battle on your bended knees?

Do you keep your Sword and Shield closely by your side?
Have you defeated those carnal desires like envy, lust, and pride?

Are you faithful to every word that The Lord commands?
When the enemy surrounds you do you bravely make a stand?

Are you a Christian Soldier who lifts God's Banner high?
Will you fight for Jesus until the day you die?

Are you a Christian Soldier who makes all of Heaven proud?
When you praise your Heavenly Commander do folks say, " He gets way too loud"?

Are you faithful to God no matter how hard the task?
Are you quick to obey an order no matter what God may ask?

Are you a Christian Soldier? Then great is your reward!
One day you'll march in the armies of Heaven for Jesus Christ our Lord!
