LIKE AN EAGLE WITH NO SKY!
by Lewis E. Thomas I had never written one poem in my life until I became "Born Again" through Christ! Then God gave me a gift to use "for Him" the rest of my life! I began to "write poetry" for Jesus up above! Writing for JESUS is now something I love! Sometimes I have had dry spells or droughts where no words would come! I felt incomplete during those times like an old empty drum. I would pray and ask The Lord to give me "more poems" to write! Then the words would "come again" like a thunderstorm in the night! During those dry spells when His words were somewhere out there on the wind! I asked God to gently blow them back to me again! When God's words of inspiration don't come I search myself for a reason why? Because when I'm not writing poetry for God, "I am like an eagle with no sky!" Lewis E.
