Is It Contagious?
by PamFord Davis Is it contagious? We frequently mingle in crowds of strangers. Unconsciously, we become involved in germ warfare. Is it contagious? Should I be concerned about that repeated cough? Tuberculosis? Ahh-Choo! 'Bless you.' Common cold? Flu? Pneumonia? Is it contagious? Gratitude? Are you a carrier? "Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness (Psalm 107:8-9 NKJV)." Give thanks with a grateful heart! "I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High (Psalm 9:1-2 NKJV)." I hope gratitude is contagious, that people are spreading it everywhere they go! "Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations (Psalm 100:1-5 NKJV)."
