I cannot go back - I cannot even look them in the eyes, I am a failure, much to everyone’s surprise. God, my parents, my family, my friends - Those who trusted me with their kids. One dreadful thought I should have captured One glance, one touch, one heated moment of rapture. When reckless abandon overtakes good judgement, And all is lost. One moment. More than an embarrassment, I am ashamed to admit, Hypocrisy at its height - A careless, selfish choice, smearing the name of Christ. Sin on display is the ultimate low, All this time still can’t heal the self-inflicted wounds of my soul. Lives changed, opportunities lost - All this disappointment comes with a great cost.
Think before you do - One bad choice can ruin you. You can’t take it back, damage inflicted Not only your reputation, But the savior you represented. Capture that thought before it turns into sin, To maintain your witness and your purity within. I implore you to live without regret, The result will be a life that’s blessed. For God will honor your obedience to His Word, And guide you on your path as you mature. The CHOICE is yours for you to make, Thank Him today that you start with a clean slate.
