In the midst of sorrow and pain,

I find in You, a friend.

Leaning on Your promise.

I pray for Your will.

Struggling to step outside of my own emotions.

Giving You all my faith and devotion.

The darkest hours bring peace instead of confusion.

Joy in place of depression.

No chains can bind me.

No circumstance overcomes me.

Great grace and strength I’ve found under Your wing.

Causing me to remain calm.

Standing firm and tall, facing this storm!

Courage and confidence,

I have gained.

A greater faith.

Giving it all over to my Savior.

Trusting Him in everything.

Contentment, Joy and Peace He brings.

Going ahead, Making my path straight.

Pouring out Grace so I can wait.
