“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6 KJV).”
I lack self-confidence. Admittedly, I am envious of those who seem confident in facing any challenges.
Confidence in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is safely placed. The LORD will complete the work he started in you and me; not only will he finish but he’ll finish right on time. We are being shaped into the likeness of the Savior.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren (Romans 8:28-29 KJV).”
He is patient; he is growing me in Christ. I place myself in his competent hands.
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV).”
