THE WISDOM IN OUR SHADOW
by Lewis E. Thomas THE WISDOM IN OUR SHADOW As a child my siblings and I used to play "Outrun Your Shadow" for fun!
But no matter how hard we tried, outrunning our shadow could not be done!
If we jumped quickly to the left or suddenly to the right!
Our shadow would "never leave us" and it stayed close and tight!
Our shadow is a sign/message from Almighty God!
Our shadow is trying to tell us something on this path of life we trod!
God is "always with us" at night and during the day!
He stays right there with us even when we stray!
If we cannot see Him or our shadow it's because something has blocked The Light!
Like Sin that seeks to wrap us up in its web so tight!
Darkness/Sin can blind us and we won't see God or our shadow near!
But God and our shadow are still close so no need to fear!
Darkness hides our shadow and darkness prevents us from seeing God!
So, let us "always" walk in "The Light" on this path we trod.
Your shadow is a reminder from God to thee!
That He is "ALWAYS THERE" with you and me!
