WALK A MILE IN MY SHOES

You often make judgment calls on me by what you see!
But there are many things you don't know about me!.
Don't judge me until you walk a mile in my shoes!
Then you may look at things with a totally different view!
My road may be harder and more difficult to climb!
So, cut me a little slack from time to time!
I love, I hurt, I suffer, just like you!
Walk a mile in my shoes!
Walk a mile in my shoes that I have worn through many trials and tests!
And don't judge me too harshly because I'm doing my best!
Yes maybe my troubles are "because of my sin"!
Pray for me that one day I will be born again!
Walk a mile in my shoes!
Pray that I will embrace the gospel and the good news!
Walk a mile in my shoes as I grew up in a broken and abusive home!
Walk a mile in my shoes when I was homeless and all alone!
I need your love and your prayers, not your condemnation!
Walk a mile in my shoes and in my situation!
Walk a mile in my shoes and you'll see how much I need your love!
I need you to "help me" to get to Heaven above!
No one has ever told me how to get there!
No one has ever called my name out to God in prayer!
Walk a mile in my shoes today!
As I struggle to find that straight and narrow way!
Walk a mile in my shoes as I struggle and fight with life!
Hoping that someone will guide me to God's Light!
Pray that one day God will "save me" and make me His own!
Pray that one day I will make Heaven my eternal home!
Walk a mile in my shoes!
