Lord, give me words breathed by your Holy Spirit!
Lord, give me a message and cause the whole world to hear it!
Give me words God, that can melt through the hardest heart!
Give me words of wisdom that to the lost your spirit can impart!
Give me words far beyond my own capability!
Words that can lead a soul to you and fill them with humility!
Lord, give me heavenly words for these little rhymes!
That will cause ripples throughout space and time!
Let me write words straight from your Throne above!
Words that will "transform a rebellious heart" and fill it with your love!
Lord, let me be a "ready pen" in your Mighty Hand!
That's writes poetry for you that is splendid and grand!
God, let me pen words that will lead a lost soul to you!
Words that will guide them to The Cross so you can make them new!
God, your words are sharp and powerful like a two edged sword!
They are to be cherished and forever adored!
