ON THE WINGS OF A DOVE

Grandma was on her deathbed with all the family gathered around.
Then something happened that was beyond the term profound!
A vortex opened in her room up overhead!
A Mighty Angel appeared hovering over her bed!
Grandma passed away and the angel lifted her up with love!
And gently laid her down on the back of a "SNOW WHITE DOVE"!
The heavenly dove had a wingspan of twenty plus feet!
It made that dove sound loudly and it sounded really sweet!
The Angel was the great doves protector as they began their flight to Heaven!
Grandma had been a Christian since the early age of seven!
The Angel and the Dove flew faster than the speed of Light!
And as they flew Grandma "sat upright".
Planets, Star Systems, and Galaxies flashed by in a moment of time!
Grandma was taking it all in and the view was sublime!
A Cube shaped object in the distance began to take shape and unfold.
It was that "GREAT CITY OF GOD" with those streets paved with gold!
The Great Dove landed gently down before Heaven's main gate!
Jesus came up to Grandma and said; "You are "right on time" and not one second late"!
As I wrote this rhyme my imagination got the best if me!
"But don't you wish this could happen to you and me?"
Heaven will be "beyond anything" our earthly minds can imagine or grasp!
Because it's the home of the great Alpha and Omega, THE FIRST AND THE LAST"!
