DRAINING THE SWAMP

We know that a swamp is filled with creeping things hiding in dark places!
They come in many shades and colors and have many faces!
Creatures who lurk in the shadows waiting to attack and kill!
They are always scheming and conniving because it gives them a thrill!
If you shine a light on their corruption they scamper away and hide behind lies!
But they are soon exposed by someone more wise!
Serpents that crawl around constantly in sin and it's evil bog!
Plotting and scheming against those they are planning to destroy or rob!
From the most powerful vipers at the top to the little scorpions on down!
Waiting in the shadows of the swamp for another victim to drown!
The Swamp I speak of is political in nature!
It's goes from the top down through and beyond the legislature!
(T)he Swamp can have tributaries leading off to the Supreme Court and further on down!
There are always "evil vipers" there who "love bribes" on whom the Lord does frown!
(R)eshaping The Swamp cannot be done quickly overnight!
Creatures of darkness cling to their holes and their dens with all their might!
(U)pgrading The Swamp requires pulling the plug on their evil ways!
Undoing the swamp land can take many years and many days!
(M)any times a "BIG GATOR" is needed to come in and take a firm stand!
Mighty and able to "kick a few tails" with some new plans!
(P)owerful and Unafraid of the creatures that dwell therein!
Putting his "BIG GATOR" bite down on those who love corruption and sin!
And should some escape the BIG GATOR's bite and slither silently away!
A judgement day is coming when the BIG GATOR'S creator will "judge them all" for their evil ways!
