One day the peace of God,
will be everlasting . . .
one day our cares on Jesus
we will not need to be casting.

One day eternal joy,
will replace our sadness
one day all of our tears
will be ones of gladness.

One day God’s mercy,
will no longer be needed
one day our every fear
will finally be defeated.

One day our true hope,
will be revealed to us
one day we will see
the God in whom we trust.

One day the peace of God,
will be truly everlasting . . .
and in our hearts and minds
it’ll no longer be surpassing!
