As many of you will have heard a nuclear ban treaty has been passed by a large number of nations. The UK didn't join the treaty and is among a small number of nations refusing to put down the sword and get to the table. In light of that let us pray:

Father, thank you for the progress toward a nuclear ban that has already taken place. We pray you would soften the hearts of those still clinging to these unholy weapons. We pray you would move them to repentance. That we would see a world free from nuclear weapons. Give strength to all those still working for peace. Let your kingdom come. Amen.
