The Means of Access
by Linda Jackson I AM Truth and I truly say, I AM the Door, there is no other way As sheep walk through, becoming fresh and clean Their souls I will forever keep Many other shepherds come They are robbers and thieves They tell lies, wanting My sheep to believe Their whispers come near My sheep always have ears to hear I AM the Way, I AM the Gate, I AM the Door Access through Me and hope is restored My pastures will feed and strengthen My sheep As they go into the world where the road is rough and steep The thief will come until his time is done He desires to steal the peace of My lambs He wants to kill and destroy across the land His army leaves them bleeding, losing their joy These sheep are Mine, their souls are not his to claim They are Mine, on them I have written My Name I AM the Shepherd, good to My sheep If they wander off and get caught in thorns I call, knowing they are weak and torn I keep reminding them, I AM their life For I gave Mine, their darkness I bore I, the Lord, faced the demon beast Now his shepherds try to poison My sheep I teach My lambs to be alert For the false shepherd will run and hide When the fence is broken and the wolf steps inside Young lambs are snatched up and believe his lies Or they scatter rambling about confused and lost They have followed the sweet words of pride at a great cost My voice they know If they will listen, My soothing voice will call them home I AM the Good Shepherd, My Father and I know our own Other lambs are to come through this Gate The means of access to My pasture is open now One day it will be closed No more will be allowed L/J/17 Mat 7:13; Jn 10:1,3,7,9,11,14:6; Rev 3:20; Ps 23:2, 95:7, 100:3
