"I AM THE RESSURECTION!"

The Bible tells us the story of a man named Lazarus who lay four days dead!
Many things about this short story could be preached or said!
Jesus "knew" this man was ill and "intentionally" waited for him to die!
When Jesus was summoned to go and heal Lazarus it was a request He covertly denied!
Had Jesus rushed to heal a "living man" little glory would He gain!
So, "for two days he delayed" and for two days He refrained!
Today He would head to Bethany as He told His deciples that Lazarus was asleep!
While over younder in the city of Bethany Martha and Mary weeped!
When Jesus met Lazarus's sister Mary He said, "Thy brother shall live again"!
Mary said, "I know at the resurrection my brother shall rise again"!
Jesus said, "I AM THE RESSURECTION AND THE LIFE" today!
And then Jesus looked up to Heaven and He began to pray!
Jesus asked, "Where have you laid Lazarus?" and they said, "Come and see!"
They led Jesus to the cave where the grave of Lazarus would be!
Jesus said, "Take the stone away!" that covered the entrance of the tomb!
As the stone rolled away everyone smelled the stench of Death and felt its gloom!
Then, JESUS cried out with a LOUD voice!
"LAZARUS COME OUT!"
"And a dead man came forth walking and the crowd began to shout!"
This brought "great fame to Jesus" that spread like fire through every city and town!
"So, you see Jesus let Lazarus die so that "raising him" would bring Him great renown!"
As you close this rhyme are you spiritually in a tomb?
Are you like a dead man walking without Christ and heading for eternal doom?
Ask JESUS to resurrect your life today!
He will save you and...
He will put you on that "STRAIGHT AND NARROW WAY"!
