THAT CROSS
by Lewis E. Thomas THAT CROSS I have a large Cross hanging on my wall in my home.
When I look at it it reminds me of that old gospel song!
AMAZING GRACE, How sweet the sound...
A great song with global renown!
That Cross on my wall keeps me focused on my God!
It's where I was Born Again and given a new path to trod.
That Cross reminds me of those three spikes driven thru my Lord's hands and feet!
That Cross is symbolic of something devine and sweet!
That Cross is where my Lord's blood ran down!
That Cross is where God turned me around!
That Cross is where my old self died!
That Cross is where I met the Crucified!
That Cross hanging on my wall is a reminder to me.
That Cross is where Jesus made my spiritually blind eyes to see!
That Cross is where Heavens Best came down and died for me!
That Cross paid the penalty for the sins of you and me!
That Cross is the only GATEWAY to Heaven above!
That Cross is the ultimate symbol of Love!
That Cross is the Straight and Narrow way!
Those who reject/ignore it shall eternally pay!
Run to that Cross today while God's grace can still be found!
And let that precious blood of The Lamb turn "you" around!
