The rain reminds me of God crying over his fallen creation!

I believe rain drops can be symbolic of the tears of God as He weeps over every nation!

 

Sometimes the rains last for many, many days!

As The Lord weeps over man and his evil ways!

 

I can hear the rain on my roof coming down sometimes with a loud roar!

The tears of God as he sees us doing things that He deplores!

 

When you hear the rain pouring down, could it be God crying over you?

Could it be God grieving because you refuse to let Him make you new?

 

I am sitting here at night listening to the rain and the howling of the wind!

I wonder sometimes if it's God weeping over us as He sees us serving sin?

 

If God didn't control His tears with all that He is worth!

There would be another world wide flood that would cover the whole earth!

 

God placed His Rainbow high in the sky!

It is His promise that He won't grieve too much again and cause us all to die!

 

Sometimes my imagination and my thoughts are filled with holy wonder!

As I listen to the falling rain and God's rolling thunder.

 

In the days of Noah man's sin and rebellion invoked God's terrible wrath!

And a world wide Storm with rain/tears cut a deadly path!

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart.

I know that as God destroyed man with the Flood that he wept bitterly through it all!

Sin always brings suffering and consequences and tears!
