LITTLE EMMANUEL IS WITH GOD!
by Lewis E. Thomas LITTLE EMMANUEL IS WITH GOD! As I write this poem tears are dropping from my eyes!
Listen to this rhyme and "become" ever more wise!
I weep for my niece today as she holds Emmanuel Jr. her stillborn Son!
It all happened quickly and the whole family was stunned!
"The Bible says we know not what a day may bring!"
Today my niece felt Death's Deadly Sting!
Dreams of a Son to cherish and love, fell apart!
As Death pierced my niece Heather and her husband Emmanuel straight through the heart!
At times like these we need to cling to scriptures like Romans 8:28!
For tomorrow we don't know what will be our fate!
God can "look forward" into the future ahead!
God's great "mercy" may be the reason this stillborn child is dead!
If God saw in the future a time that this child would choose an evil path!
In His great "mercy" allowing the child to die now "saved" that child from eternal wrath.
With that in mind Romans 8:28 makes perfect sense to a Christian believer!
But watch out for lies from Satan, the Great Deceiver!
Satan will tell you, "God does not love you because God let this child die"!
But old Satan will never tell you the true reason why!
There is a "Great Solace" within all the tears and sobs!
Little Emmanuel Beach Jr. is now in the loving Arms of God!
One day in the future in Heaven above!
Mom and Dad will be "reunited" with that little bundle of love!
They will have all of eternity to get to know this Son they lost!
As they get to know God's Son who died for us "all" upon a cruel Cross!
