TIC TOCK
by Lewis E. Thomas TIC TOCK Have you ever listened to an old Grand Father clock?
Every second that goes by makes a repeated and loud Tic Tock!
The Hands of Time slowly making their rounds!
The Hands of Time slowly counting down!
We hear the steady Tic Tock over and over again!
Not realizing that TIME will soon come to its END!
TIC TOCK! TIC TOCK!
Oh, if only that old Grand Father Clock could speak!
It would yell...
"Run quickly to Jesus and fall at His feet!"
I like to imagine that all the OLD CLOCKS somehow know the very Day!
When their last TIC TOCK and CHIME will sound and play!
I like to imagine that those OLD CLOCKS are TIC TOCKING out a warning as they silently sob!
Trying to tell us that our days are numbered and that we should prepare to meet our God!
Run to Jesus today while you still have Time!
It will be too late after that last and final CHIME!
One day Time and "all clocks" will stop and eternity will begin!
"Woe be unto those lost souls who enter eternity with "unforgiven sin!*
Please heed God's warning in this little rhyme!
* Because you are running out of Time *
