ONE TRUE FRIEND
by Lewis E. Thomas ONE TRUE FRIEND If you have one "true friend" in your life you are truly blessed!
When it comes to a loving and caring friend, Jesus ranks as "THE BEST!"
Jesus will stick with you closer than a brother!
Jesus will love you more than a Mother!
Jesus will never leave your side!
He will lift you up when you fall due to foolish pride!
Jesus will "hold you" when you face your darkest hour!
Jesus will cover you with His grace and power!
Jesus will never ever leave you alone... "If you will let Him sit on your hearts throne!"
If everyone in your life should write you off and walk away!
Jesus will whisper in your ear and say: "I AM HERE TO STAY!"
Jesus will stay by your side through thick and thin!
He will stick by you when you lose and when you win!
He will keep you walking on that Straight and Narrow Way!
He will "warn you" when He sees you going astray!
He will love you if you grow rich over time...
And He will love you even if you lose every dime!
He will sit by your side should you become homeless on the street!
He will suffer hunger "with you" when you have nothing to eat!
Should you reach "The End" and you are dying from old age...
Jesus "will" be there "holding your hand" as you turn... life's final page!
