SPIRITUAL STAND OFF WITH GOD?

How many of us Christians are waiting on God while God is waiting on us?
When God doesn't answer our prayers we kick up a fuss!
Is God waiting for us to give up and forsake a hidden sin?
Could that be why our prayers go unanswered for our loved ones and our friends?
Are we still clinging to a secret sin that offends The Lord up above?
Is our sin causing God to withhold His mercies of love?
We wait and wait on God to move while God may be waiting on us!
Our hidden sin may be the very thing causing all the fuss!
If you had a child who disobeyed would you grant that child's requests?
Or would you deny that child's wishes until they passed your decipline test?
When our children obey us at all times our heart becomes tender towards them!
When it comes to God it is the same way with Him!
Are our unanswered prayers caused by a sin we refuse to lay down and give to God?
Is our disobedience hindering our prayers on this path we trod?
We must be honest with ourselves and look deep into our heart within!
Is there a secret place in our heart where we are harboring sin?
Hidden sin will block and hinder our prayers to God above!
Secret sin can tie God's hands and stop His mercies of love!
Are you clinging to one pet sin that God has told you repeatedly to give up?
Then you are being a disobedient child with a heart still corrupt!
You will face that test of obedience over and over again!
Until you decide to finally lay down that last little hidden sin!
How many of your relatives and friends would have been saved or healed long ago?
"If you had just stayed on your knees in prayer long enough to let that sin go?"
