ON THE POTTER'S WHEEL
by Lewis E. Thomas ON THE POTTERS WHEEL God placed me on His Potter's Wheel before I was conceived!
He looked ahead in time and saw that day when I would believe!
God began shaping me according to His great devine plan!
He guided my Mother and her hand as I was molded and shaped into a good man!
As I went to school everyday I was on God's Potter Wheel as His piece of clay!
As His Potter Wheel turned God worked on my form every day!
During my days in the military I was on His Potter's Wheel going round and round!
As God was molding and shaping me to make me strong and sound!
During my times with divorce the pressures became great as His Potter's Wheel turned!
As God let my emotional pain shape me, I wiggled and squirmed!
As His Potter's Wheel turned He shaped my form with His skilled hand and knife!
And took away my pain when He gave me a woman named Penny to be my wife!
As I get older these days I can see myself still in the Potter's hands!
As He fashions and shapes me into a vessel grand!
God is putting His final touches on me as the years come and go!
He reminds me that I will reap exactly what I sow!
Life itself has us all on The Potter's Wheel 24/7!
Will we let God shape us into a vessel that is fit and ready for Heaven?
If we yield to God's hands as the Potter's Wheel turns round and round!
He will shape us into a heavenly vessel that is spiritually sound!
As you struggle with the cares of life each and every day!
Remember God is The Potter and you are His clay!
When life brings us many tears, that's when God can shape us best!
He uses our tears to soften our stubborn, hard clay so we can become a Vessel Blessed!
