Engaged to be married?
A diamond ring makes an engagement official.
Fidgeting, a beau puts a diamond ring upon the finger of his beloved.
Stammering, he pops the question, "Will you marry me?"
“Yes, oh yes; I love you!”
God loves us…
He often needs to use tough love; He once used a diamond to make His point.
"The sin of Judah is written down with an iron stylus; With a diamond point it is engraved upon the tablet of their heart, And on the horns of their altars (Jeremiah 17:1 NASB).”
Flashing that diamond ring?
Diamonds are costly and always in high demand.
If genuine, a diamond is sharp enough to cut glass.
"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12 NASB).”
The LORD reads my mind; He judges my heart.
