IN MY FATHERS HOUSE

 

My local church sings a song that I dearly love!

It reminds me of God's Holy City above!

 

One line goes, ("In my Father's house there is a place for me"! "I'm a child of God, yes I am"!)

 

In my Father's House no-one will be sick, blind, cripple or lame!

In my Father's House there will be no wheel chairs or folks walking with a cane!

 

In my Father's House there will never be a funeral service with tears and grieving!

There will be no death there with our loved ones dying and leaving!

 

In my Father's House there will be multitudes praising Him all around!

The Angels will be blowing Mighty Trumpets that make a glorious sound!

 

In my Father's House Jesus will be The Light oh so bright!

In my Father's House there will be no darkness, no shadows and no more night!

 

In my Father's House the skies will be filled with rainbows all around!

The Cherubims will fly crying holy, holy, holy making an awesome sound!

 

In my Father's House there is a place for me!

The Lamb of God will be there, the first one I want to see!

 

With God "all things" are possible so don't think my next line impossible or odd!

In my Father's House every saint will live right "next door" to God!

 

In my Father's House no-one will wear a sad face!

Everyone will wear the smile of Amazing Grace!

 

In my Father's House we will dance with Jesus and angels in the streets!

In my Father's House eternity is going to be so glorious and sweet!

 

In my Father's House we will all be young, tireless and in our prime!

We will praise the Lord forever in that heavenly realm untouched by Time!
